:?:? And it hits close to home this time. A very good friend has been "resourced" because her work is going to Brazil. She is at peace with it, but why am I fuming? UGH! I need a :grouphug:
:grouphug: I know the feeling, and I know many people who have lost their jobs in telecom/pc industry because of this. Luckily, with them being engineers or technical documentation folks they were able to change industries rather quickly.

I remember watching a tv show called "Buy Me" on HGTV channel (I think) and it's about a Raleigh woman wants to sell her home because she lost her job as a music instructor and want to move out of state to be closer to her families. She's in her 60's and got very lucky that there was a huge bidding wars on her home. Her home is in downtown Raleigh and was originally sell for $140 but went up to almost $200!! I felt bad for people losing their job. I'm worried about my mother, who's a senior citizen refused to retire, since she got a new boss and the company are changing staff. They already laid off half of her staff and my mother think she's next one to go. She's in FL and I'm hoping she'll move up here to be closer with us. All we have to do is to pray.
