That's just it. The sauce is lacking. Very bland. Sorry for the semantics.

You don't need to. It's synonymous with your name. I think you should just go ahead and drop the ruse, and change your sn to Marco.

    Polo!

So let me get this straight....some of you are getting pizzy, (ha ha ) because others don't like something and others do.
That is silly - we are all entitled to our own likes and dislikes - just because It wasn't my cup of tea doesn't mean I wish them bad things and I am going to hop up and down about it.

We need to all hold hands and read the C3 thread.....

    LOL

There's another place I've been to that uses a brick oven, funny but the name of the place if the Brick Oven, just a little ways on the other side of Sunset Beach on hwy 17, great pizza. There's also a great Italian restaurant in Calabash that's absolutely great to eat at, mostly locals know about this place, can't remember the name but I'll find out for anyone going that way this summer.

IIRC Michalangelo's at Emerald Isle has a great pie and the slices were HUGE!. So was my heartburn....

    Good stuff though.

I don't know if it's the same place or not, but years ago (8?) I went to a pizza place at Emerald Isle and the pizza was incredible!

It's only a matter of time until I start speaking of Marco's? How judgemental can you people be? Residential idiot? Are you serious? WOW!

How predjudiced can you be? I simply stated that the pizza at Grand Street wasn't my cup of tea. But that it was their first week, and I would gladly give them another shot.

Might I remind you, that it was YOU, not I that brought up Marco's. YOU! So quite honestly I would appreciate the blind hating to stop.

This post will probably go unrecognized. It's like :beathorse: for some of you.

I will try Grand Street again. Even though they use conveyor ovens. it may be better than the chain companies like Domino's, Papa's, ect.

I won't try Marco's because of you. It is clear that you have vested interest in them.

Shall I make a list of all my hardcore dinner spots so you can avoid them? These are the restaurants that I deem wonderful and would defend...

Chinese: China King the one behind Wendy's
Mexican: The one beside Wachovia Bank
    Italian Pizza: Marco's

Also: The Clubhouse behind Food Lion
    Chops

I also go to Fit For Life regularly.
And am I fan of Wendy's and Ruby Tuesdays.

All of which are located at 40/42 with the acception of Chops.

Well, I've probably ran into Omni a time or two...I go to Fit For Life also on a regular basis. I also frequent Ruby Tuesdays (love it) and El Cerro (hate it, family likes it though). And for the record, I've been to Marco's once, and it was ok, but it was so hot in there it was hard to enjoy anything! I haven't been to Grand Street or La Piazza, but I've been wanting to try both.

I really like Grand Street Pizza, but something about it must be salty because I get SOOOO thirsty after I eat it. Like dehydrated thirsty. Anyone else notice this???

Thats why I was asking if anyone knew if they used a 3 blend cheese topping. That and minimal sauce could possibly cause that. When I had my cheese pizza I felt that the cheese way over powered the sauce. Don't get me wrong, the more cheese the better. I would just prefer a little more sauce.

It depends if they use a "processed" cheese or if they use real mozzarella

Then the sauce yes would have possibly to much salt
