I hadn't even heard about this. I presume your talking about the one on 42 correct? If it is good Japanese food then I shall love it. If I hear anything about it I will post back.
I'm pretty sure they're talking about the Food Lion at 40/42, near Great Clips. I saw them putting up a sign a couple weeks ago, but I don't eat Japanese so I didn't pay attention.
It is now called Yummi Japan, if it's close to Cleveland Animal Hospital, Great Clips, LIberty Tax, etc. They haven't open yet, but real soon. They serve sushi as well.
Keeeeennnnnnnnnnn....I was just trying to have a little fun. Education gives me a headache right now.
Best Sushi I have ever had is next to Raleighwood. I can not think of the name it. OMG it was awesome!
Was at the Nail Tek this afternoon and the sign at Yummi Japan says opening Mar 4. Nail Tek has some menus if you're interested.
from what I gathered was that it is similar in fashion to the New Japan Express, like the site at White Oak...
DH will tell you... New Japan Express has yucky sushi... he was not impressed with theirs. He likes the real stuff.
I've had their Hibachi chicken, steak etc. and let's just say, they are not at the top of my list. I've had worse, but I've had a lot better too. Reminds me of something you'd get at a mall food court. But maybe I've just been there on off days, who knows?
That place is just like the ones in the mall food courts. Not great but better than eating McD's everytime you go. However their "sushi" leaves way too much to be desired or even called sushi. Craig
Tasty China. Gee, never thought to have a taste of the china in my cabinet. Do ya think Noritake will taste good? hehehehehe
