not many people i know have ever eaten in a bathroom...not ususally where i'd like my meals....on the pot...????

Ok, may be it is just because you are all young, but didn't you folks chuckle when you realized that the person laying out the story was Mr. Whipple???

 

The phrase "Don't Squeeze the Charmin" did cross my mind as I was reading the article

 

Although all searches do seem to show it's legit, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if, in a couople of days, it's discovered that this was a pick up from something like "The Onion" or "World Weekly News".

 

Actually, I hope that is the case. I'd hate to think of some poor woman sitting on a toilet for two years. :?

Here is an update, they don't know how long she was actually in there, and according to the article, just stayed in the bathroom due to some sort of phobia. They don't know how long she was actually sitting on the toilet, at least a month they are estimating. Poor thing!

NESS CITY, Kan. — A man should be charged for allowing his girlfriend to sit on their toilet so long that her body became stuck to the seat, the sheriff said Thursday.
Ness County Sheriff Bryan Whipple was among authorities who discovered the woman last month living in the bathroom of a mobile home she shared with her boyfriend, Kory McFarren.
"The house was cluttered but not in shambles," he said. "The smell was overpowering — a terrible smell about the house, obviously coming from where she was at."

 

This story is pretty bizarre too. I mean, you would think that in 7 years of marriage, the wife would want to at least get a glimpse of her husband's, uh, "manhood" -- wouldn't you? :neutral:

The she/he husband says the wife knew about his/her little secret. I tend to believe him/her.
