    Holy sheet!
My kids are 10 and 12 and under no circumstances do I ever leave them in the car alone. Some say I am over protective but I don't think I am!

Well if you are over protective so am I! I would never leave my kids in the car alone not even for a second. You never know what might happen. There are some crazy people out there.

There was a big car chase that ended in front of that Food Lion a few weeks ago, the driver even ran into Food Lion to act like he was just there to make a purchase.

Yup, happened just minutes before I got there with my girls thankfully. The cashier told me about it.

That is WAY too close to home. Scary.

There is one advantage to being overweight . . . fat people are hard to kidnap!

I am sorry, but I find this story hard to believe. The car was parked right in front of the store, and someone took the time to try to get in the car on both sides, and beat on the window? I view of the clerk at the register? If it is true that is as brave as I have ever heard a "child abducter" get. Usually they want to be out of sight.

Well the store is junky and you may not be able to see out there as well as someone may think.
The mother said wasn't in there long, but she could have been in there long enough for the man to at least try.
I know this is something that I wouldn't or couldn't make up..
This was a eye opener for me, being so close to home.

I wanted to see who would say something because I didn't want to be first. But it sent up red flags with me too.

    1st
This makes me think she was scared to start with.
    2nd
    Imagination starts.
    3rd
    Imagination kicks into overdrive.

Now if this really DID happen, I believe it was by someone the mother and the daughter knows.

I don't know if it is true or not so many make things up now a days but there have been people to kidnap children at walmarts and right out of( kids bedrooms) childrens homes with the parents a sleep right down the hall. Point being better safe than sorry everyone needs to keep a closer eye on their kids. As far as being out of sight most pedophiles take risk to get what they want. I have heard things about " child abducters" walking right up to people and grabbing their kid . I believe there was a report in Smithfield where someone tried to snatch a kid out the cart with the mom right there. These people do not think like we do. They think about getting the child/person thats it.

Lots of people park right in front of that store. It makes me so mad. I guess they are to damn lazy to walk .

It infuriates me when people do that...as a matter of fact, I went to Party City at White Oak on Monday, not one soul parked in the designated spots out front, but a big 'ol Tahoe parked out on the curb, I walked right into Party City, and said quite loudly, "lets see if I can spot the lazy re-My Friend who parked on the curb" I got a not-so-nice look from this beotch at the cash register checking out. I stopped and turned around, and sure enough, it was her.....WTFE.

So has anyone heard it there is any truth to this? It's so hard to know what to think.... I'd hate to think that someone made it up, but thne if it was made up, I'd feel a little relieved in a way. But I still am vigilant with my kids in this area. What a shame that things like this happen..............
