how did the media get there so fast? and why did they have the child, who was scared to death, reinact what happened? i was in this shopping center the day this happened and saw or heard nothing. they must have cleared out pretty quickly.

 

I was there that day too. Seen nothing. I do not know what time it suppose to happened though?

i was there before 5. if it happened after school, you would think they would have still been there. i'm guessing it would take the media at least 45 mins to get there. maybe the child didn't go to school that day and it happened earlier in the day.

 

I do not think the moms will be coming on this thread. If they do OFW as far as Falcon who really gives a crap about him? LOL

I can believe it.

I mean yes a child can be imaginative BUT I know first hand. Went to Walmart in Clayton a few years ago and had to use the bathroom that was near the layaway section. I hate using public restrooms but really had to go....anyway..had full cart and asked my daughter who was about 12 and she was a big twelve to stay with the cart right outside - I mean right outside the restroom within a few feet where there was a bench. When I came out only like not even five minutes later - (yes I am fast)... she was really shook up and said as soon as I went in a guy came up to her said hi and asked if she wanted to take a walk with him and even offered and tried to take the cart. She told him that I would be out any second and when I got out she was right outside the door ready to take the cart into the bathroom. I almost tripped on her and said - what are you doing you can't take the cart (which had my handbag too) into the bathroom. Then she told me the story and told me what happened and asked me to look for the guy who quickly took off she says when some employees returned to the layaway section. I am not sure if its true and didn't see him though we sent through the store looking for him afterwards but I hate to doubt that happened especially in the state she was in. I don't know..I know someone first hand in new york that was a child molester and was a cop. He was arrested for it too and kept his job because of his get this-union that offered judicial protection. I am glad that they don't take no crap here from anyone in NC and uphold the law when it comes to crimes like that.

You can't think something like that WON"T happen. There are people mentally ill and youreally have to be mentally ill to try crap like that. it's only after people do crimes like this that people realize "Holy Crap that guy is sick!".

Hey look at that guy Violette. I have met a bunch of people who knew him as a friend and he helped me once at Lowe's and who ccould tell that he had the ability to decap his daughter. It's sad and people like dogs can be unpredictable and you never know when they can bite.

Also the internet stirs up a lot of fetishes that some people never knew they had and I think if a guy can go looking to get a teen on the internet he isn'tany safer on the street around kids - he'll just wait for the right moment.

 

Man I would love to have an update on this story, although it does sound
fishy! Whither or not there is any truth to this story we may never know,
But this is why it is so important as Parents to speak frankly with your kids.

Sometimes my Husband will be bothered by how frankly I speak to mine. He
worries about upseting them. I do too, but its better for them to know this stuff exsits & to be prepared for it. Or better yet be on the look out for others!
