We moved our son to Little Stepping Stones II in December, after being very disappointed in Building Blocks on Winston Rd. We love LSS, he does too. We pay $145 a week for him (he's in the Pre K room), worth every penny. His teachers are patient and loving and just wonderful. My neighbor just pulled her son out of the same Building Blocks for similar reasons, he is now in my son's class at LSS and is adjusting well there. Kudos to LSS!

  2. Little Stepping Stones II is where my son (1 year old) is.

When I first visited I just walked in and one of the directors was up from their desk and at the door to greet me - this made me feel good in two ways - they wanted to make me welcome and also they knew that I wasn't a parent and wanted to make sure everything was okay.

My son likes it - I was really worried about him starting at a daycare center because he had been in in-home care from the time he was 10 weeks old and was the only baby (under 2) so he had a lot of attention and was held alot. I didn't really know how I would like it. But I love it! He sleeps alot better now than he ever did! He will go down for a nap and sleep a good 2 hours and he sleeps through the night now (which didn't happen when he was in in-home care).

Heather, Tina & Jennifer are awesome!

I'm just wondering who the teacher is at BB .. I wonder if I know her. PM me if you don't want to say it in the private forum.

STAY AWAY.... well honestly it has been 15 years but it was awful then... I even called the police, but we didn't have enough info to do anything. They said to send DD back to gather more info... yea right.

I taught at BB on Winston Rd for a little over a year and my son has been there for 3 years (now at center 3 in Archer Lodge) but I only have good things to say about them I know most all the teachers especially the ones that have been there for years.

I'm curious as to what's going on. I saw a parent at the park the other day, and she had moved her DD as well. Wonder if it is just the class? I recommend them to everybody who asks.

I know some parents move there kids out of the 3's room after I left and they went to Kids R Kids I know some are still there but some have left from there as well! Not sure about the room anymore but if I was closer my son would be for sure in the Pre K room, I loved Ms Tammy, Katie and Ann. They have been there for ever and love them...

Right, she would just visit in the morning when I dropped her off. Ms Sheila was so nice. What a great group of gals. I will still recommend this daycare to everybody. :)

Those ladies are FABULOUS teachers. As I said (or maybe not said), I used to work there. I go back occasionally just to see those ladies. I've not been in a while. I should go back and visit. I left under reasons not relating to child care. I had to get a job with better benefits. I'm not sure if the teacher's in the 3's are the same as when I worked there over 5 years ago. 5 years ago the teachers were top notch.
