    This struck me as interesting.

Clayton Man Charged With Selling Meth

A Clayton man is the first of several people drug agents with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office say will be arrested in an operation targeting individuals allegedly selling methamphetamine. Narcotics Captain A.C. Fish said with an increase in meth labs being confiscated, officers are turning to those selling the illegal drugs. Christopher Shannon Daniels, 35, of Elmore Drive, Clayton was arrested Tuesday night as part of the operation. Daniels was charged with selling methamphetamine, conspiracy to sell meth, and possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a controlled substance. Bail was set at $10,000.

Man Caught With Meth Receives Probation

A man reportedly caught with a small amount of methamphetamine in his pockets while at a home in the Meadow community in January has been convicted, but won’t spend any time behind bars. Timothy Erik Henderson, 28, of Faison was one of four people arrested at a residence on Thornton Road. Henderson pled guilty recently to possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. In exchange for his guilty plea, Henderson received a suspended 6 to 8 month prison sentence, and was placed on probation.

Christopher ought to be thanking the JCSO for saving his life. It would not be too long before he tried Meth and got a taste for it (which happens about the first time you try it I've heard) and started to look like Timothy.

    Yep, a very glamorous drug.

Here's some images that every potential meth user can aspire to:

Makes me want to run right out and find the nearest dealer.

The meth users I've talked to ALL thought they were able to handle it! That they would be able to walk away any time.

    Yeah, right.

This has been on my mind since I watched the movie "American Meth" a few weeks ago. It was just so freaking sad the way it changes folks, and the things they do to get this drug. Apparently it is pretty big in the midwest especially with Truck Drivers and folks or work in oil fields (? I think that is what they said). Anyways, the meth addicts will walk along the highway hoping to find a bottle that a truck driver has urinated into. And they will drink it, hoping to get any trace amounts of meth left behind in the urine. That is just beyond sad.

There is probably no better lesson than seeing what the results of drug use can be first hand like that.

Has anyone ever known a meth addict personally? I am beginning to suspect something is up with a friend of mine. Everything seems normal on the surface, but something does not feel quite right.

What would be some things to look for if you suspected drug use in an average, everyday housewife?

Known and was married to one.

Lot's of energy, little or no sleeping seemingly needed. Loss of appetite. Drastic weight loss.

Basically meth is a very strong stimulant.
