NO! you do not! You know you loved it! I wish I could eat all that yummy stuff you listed....especially the mac and Cheese and APPLE TURNOVERS!! YUM.

 

I'll have to send you the recipe for those turnovers. Easy peasy using crescent rolls. :cheers:

Speaking of recipes... Anybody have a good one for Pasta Fagioli? Where is Ken? I am sure he has one.

I never heard of it before either, DH just mentioned it last night to use up the leftover ham. Here is one recipe I found -

MARION'S PASTA FAGIOLI

4 to 6 ham shanks
2 lb. pinto beans
1/2 lb. salad macaroni
1 lg. onion, chopped
6 or 8 cloves of garlic, fresh, minced
2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 lb. bacon, cut in pieces
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 to 2 tsp. allspice
1 to 2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. pepper

Boil ham shanks until tender. Remove from water to cool. Put pinto beans in water to cook. When ham shanks are cool, remove meat from bones and put meat back in beans and water. Add tomato sauce and rest of ingredients EXCEPT salad macaroni. Cook until beans are done.
Twenty minutes before serving, add salad macaroni. When macaroni is tender, eat and enjoy. Wonderful served with black rye bread. NOTE: Use just enough water so your finished product is not watery. Serves 10 to 12.

Being unfamiliar with this dish I don't know if this is "authentic" fagioli or somebody's version. And, I'm not too sure about boiling the pasta right in the dish.

 

I thought of you every time I ate those damn Reeses PB Eggs!

Oh yeah, it was really good thoughts! I thoroughly enjoyed the RPB eggs all the while wondering if I had surpassed your quota or not. I'm thinking I did. Because they magically gravitated towards me one right after another. :lol:

 

Those things are addictive! I ended up running to Walmart late last night (ugg!) and there weren't any left. Probably a good thing! :mrgreen:

CBS isn't bringing the TV show Jericho back next year. Tomorrow night is the last show forever. I'm very upset. It was my favorite show.
