I've seen a few of these clinics where they are open only to county residents. Is that the case with this event?

Nope, I take my barn cats there and I am Johnston county. If you have a recent (within one year) rabies certificate they will give you three years. If you dont it will only be a one year. There is usually a line, but it goes fast.

 

Thanks so much for posting this! We took our cat and got him micro-chipped, he didn't need rabies vaccine. Boy, was it cold and windy this morning - but worth it! :lol:

 

Great! I am glad you got to go! Did the weather keep people away? I am always afraid if they don't have enough people come they will stop doing things like this.

 

I wish I had checked this out earlier! I would have taken my Turby to get both done.

Thanks for publishing this. We were there for both of our dogs to be microchipped. It was 10 am, blustery and cold. it was well worth it. All said about 15 minutes of time and good to see so many others getting their pets vaccinated and microchipped.

No matter how much we want these crazy dogs to go away, they never will be able to... :>)
