http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krystal_(restaurant) Chatanooga Tn headquarters. None in NC. There used to be some in Charlotte when I lived there. White Castle in about the same and they are northern.
I don't know who owns the Wendy's at 210 but who ever owns it needs to check in on it. Those people ( some of them) are not able to get a order right to save their life. Next time (if ) I go back there and they throw my salad in the bag with out the lid on it and I pretty much get a bag of salad. I may go throw it back in the window.
I have never eaten there. I have thrown food back threw a drive thru before, at a taco bell in Greenville. it was not pretty. this was many many years ago, back in the 80's.
I hate complaining so I just threw it away but was PO'ed it wasn't but like 6 or 7 bucks but still. They are very polite there it probably was a honest mistake but made me mad. As far as Taco Bell the new one at 210. All I can say is nobody should ever wait 20 minutes in a drive threw. They need to send some of them youngins home or better yet just fire everybody and start over. That place is a joke. They are so slow it is pitiful.I know they are farely new so I have went back after they screwed up my order 3 times but last weekend when I sat at the window ( after handing the boy my money) for 10 minutes not to count how long I was in the line to begin with. I decided for now own I will just drive to 42 for KFC. They need to get their act together.
Growing up my father use to take me to a place called Rutt's Hut (Clifton NJ) http://www.hollyeats.com/RuttHut.htm Get a couple of hot dogs and old style onion rings (not those crudy ones you get at most chain restaurants) and a big ole Birch beer
We have too many restaurants How about a real Italian bakery I wish I had the skills to make all the goodies...I would make really good money
Now you are talking. I made cannolis one Easter but haven't tried again, were good. Did you know Lowe's Foods has the clam shaped pastry, one made with filling and phyllo flaked strips, my favorites? Know how to say it but cannot spell it. Anyway, they are as authentic as we can get down here. Ro
To be honest with you....I have been to Lowes for maybe one or two items and I am out the door. i will have to check out their pastry.
FYI, there's a new Japanese place in the Food Lion shopping center at 40/42. I have not been yet. It's called Yummi Japan. I'm not sure if it's the same as New Japan Express but it appears to be similar.
here is a whole thread on Yummi Japan.... http://www.4042.com/4042forums/showthread.php?t=17534&highlight=yummi+japan
I wouldn't mind seeing a Mayflower seafood. That is the only thing our area seems to lack. I'm sure my husband would like to see an Indian place, too. He eats so much of it that he smells like curry...lol
