I did a search so I wouldn't have to post a new thread but couldn't find one..anyways my parents got a WII, and man it is so much fun. All they got for games is the sport one, and I would like to get a couple more games to play. What do you guys recommend for age 8 and up? I have heard that the Wii has more kid friendly games, just would like to know where to start. Thanks, Sheri
Gamefrog Wii most played: Super Mario Galaxy Super Smash Brothers Brawl <-- fighting game, but awesome. Mario Strikers: Charged The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess <-- might be a little harder for younger kids. Mario Party 8 <-- good game for a group, solo its kindof boring. Rayman Raving Rabbids if we had it for Wii, guitar hero would be up there too. Personally to this list i'd add Excite Truck & WarioWare: Smooth Moves

My 11 year old's fav is Zelda, he likes Mario party too. He said for an 8 y/o he would recommend Mario party and Crash of the Titans.
I am a big fan of an old arcade game called Qbert. I would love to see that made into a WII game. You would have to jump back and forth and right and left just to get qbert to move. I also liked burger time. have a guy who looks like wimpy and you get to eat hamburgers, the more hamburgers you eat the more points you get
ditto for the carnival game. for a family game, we like smarty pants - I also like big brain academy...
Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz is a cool little game And also for any young baseball fans MLB Power Pros Sonic & Mario at the Olympic Games Mario Party 8 (My 3 yr old son likes to play)
