Hey, have y'all seen this? I don't normally watch stuff on G4, because, well, I'm old. But I was flipping through the channels a few weeks ago and I guess my finger slipped and here was this show where an hundred competitors start on theis grueling obstacle course and try to make it through what will eventually be four stages. To show just hopw difficult the competition is, out of 100 starting, only 16 finished the first stage last night. The competitors range from garbage workers to TV personalities and even an actor or two. It seems, though, that the best athletes are firemen and fishermen. It's all subtitled (the voice is Japanese), but the action is what's good. I'm hooked. I find myself quite literally on the edge of my seat routing for some guy I've never seen before, and will quite probably never see again, even if he wins. I want to know why Japan has such a great show and we have "American Idol"?
We have watched that before. Its actually quite interesting.Not something I could do LOL so more power to them.
I heard from a friend that has family and japan and visited them for a few weeks that MxC is exactly the same show over there. while it looks to us like they're dubbing and saying really silly things just to poke fun at the original show... they're actually saying those things.
