    I can top this

Ok so one year ago we got robbed between 3-5am

Then about three weeks ago at 1015 am broad daylight while some family member was home they hit us on this same day 21 homes in this area (mcgees crossroads) were hit

so they don't care whether you are home or not they are brazen...........however one of the two guys that hit us was arrested!!!!

I tracked down the truck got the tag & he is gone!!!

Years ago my father woke to hear someone jacking with his car. So, in true Hillbilly style he jumps outa bed, grabs the pistol, runs outside, and pops a few rounds at the &^%*(**(. Oh yeah, he was also naked.

The cops caught the guy. He readily admitted his crime and obvious poor victim choice. Ever seen a naked, 5'8", 300 lb, enraged man unloading a pistol at 3am? Yup, he did pick the WRONG house.

HG & Angeleyes... When you get a picture of suspicious people, like you're talking about, let the police know, even if you aren't aware of any crime having happened in your neighborhood. For all you know, there could have been a bunch of break-ins in the next neighborhood (or even several miles away), and the police have a general description, and your pictures may help make an arrest.

Of course, few people would recommend confronting a stranger and taking pictures. There's some crazy SOB's out there. But if you're going to do it anyway, give the pics to the police.

ha! I didn't mean you! I meant the crazy SOB that was going to break in or steal, saw you taking his picture, and decided to go berzerk on you. That's the crazy SOB I was talking about. :)

So sorry to hear of your break in. The violation is very hard to forget. We did get robbed when living on Long Island, we were only living in the house one week, went out to dinner, came home right after and the house was in shambles.

Think we should start using our alarm system again.

If you have it in place, why stop using it? :banghead::banghead:

I am a little crazy for doing that I guess but I have done worse. I really don't scare that easily.

This is gonna sound stupid but I forget to turn mine on a lot. I have also forgot to lock the doors at night when I'm home alone before. I also have a bad habbit of opening the door to anyone my mom gets so mad at me because I never look I just open it. I feel pretty much safe so it just dosen't dawn on me to worry so much about my safety I can defend myself pretty good. Its not like I have enemies who wanna kill me. That I know of anyways lol.

That is one thing I never forget to do...turn on my alarm. I truly don't care about any of the materialistic things in my home (don't have a lot of great stuff anyway) ...I ONLY care about my pup pups!

Macy, which part of the Meadows your family member live? I have not hear anyone live in the Meadows mentioned about any break in?
Is it the new division close by the new Elementary School?

    Thanks..

If a crook tried to enter my house through my garage, he's be lucky to make it to the door without a broken leg climbing over all the bikes and stuff in there

Garage doors are always closed, and we even have an ADT sticker on the doggie door that's in the garage door. Double whammy! You try to come through this doggie door, you get accosted by 2 dogs, and then the alarm will go off!
