exactly. I discovered the redness in the middle of the night, and thought nothing of it. which is why I wasnt sure if it was in my bed or if I was bit on the deck outside and didnt notice, then the blister came. I had so much poison in my body, it exploded out of my hip, the infection had no where to go, so it burst out. The doctor said it was common for that to happen, along with the red streaks of infection running down my leg.

I believe in killing all spiders. I also think killing a copperhead is crazy. I wouldn't get close enough to it to kill it. If I see a copperhead in my yard I am moving! lol

it was, but yet again, I survived. My fiance' didn't live me at the time, and when he saw it, 3 days after, he freaked....it was disgusting.

Last summer I bet I killed 10. I have never been scared of them. I have never picked one up or touched it just stepped on them with my shoes on and smashed them into the sidewalk.

They're fast, too. I tried to snap a picture of one and it kept running away. I had to walk briskly to keep up.

I think I read somewhere that the males have wings, but no stinger, and the females have stingers, but no wings.
