I know I read tons of referrals on here for a vet, but I cannot find one thread.

My cats all went to Garner Animal Hospital but it is totally inconvenient now that we have moved. I tried Stage Rd and I left with about 500 new grey hairs their service was so poor. (dr. was good)

Any other suggestions around our area? I need to get one cat in for his prednisone asap!

    Thanks!

There is a recent thread in the Cat/Dog Forum..........................should still be on the first page. If you don't see it, Clayton Animal Hospital on Hwy 70 is a good place to start.

We use Cleveland Animal Hosp, beside Food Lion at 4042. Dr Basden (?) is really good. :)

I hate that you had a bad experience at Stage Road. I know that the service is all that great but the doctors are fabulous and really know what they are doing. I have never felt rushed when I was in there and the vet listens to everything we have to say as if my pet's life depended on it, which it does! If after looking around you still don't find a good vet maybe give them another try.

THAT'S the one! She saw my very cranky torty last week and I couldn't remember her name. I was expecting a cat rodeo, and she handled her very well! The last vet I had her too, let me tell you, it was ugly:evil: !!! Loved that my cat wasn't traumatized by a visit to the vet. The one in my avatar saw Dr. Bagley the week before and I was extremely pleased with him as well.

We also use Clayton Animal. We see Dr. Smith, Bagley, or Beam.

  11. Elims or should I say Mrs Elims Recommended Dr Beam to me. Dr Beam does acupuncture and I am hoping to get Laila off some of her heavy duty drugs by using acupuncture.

Had a dog years ago while living in Florida that had slipped a disk and acupuncture worked wonders.

I've always found them to be great. I get in on short notice, they are easy to work with, and are open to ideas. All the Dr's and attendants are awesome.
