On my way home today towards 50 on Hwy 42 I had to stop to get my license checked. They were stopping everyone, but I was just surprised at how many policemen were there, probably 4-6. I was just curious, are they looking for someone/something? They only looked at license, not registration. Their cars were all over the place, on 42 and going up a side road into (either)an older s/d or a trailer park, I didn't really pay attention...
Oh I HOPE THEY FIND THAT DARK COLORED SUV!!!! Maybe they are keeping an eye out for that. Thanks for the heads up on any delays we might get into.
'the dark SUV' is in reference to the hit & run from last week - they haven't located the driver yet.
Everytime I approach a check I start freaking out. I have nothing to hide, just immediately start a panic attack. Once I forgot my license because I had changed pocket books (you know to match my outfit), and was asked to pull over in the grass. :boxing: Ran my plates and my DL # I had verbally given them. They let me go on my merry little way.
I always panic, I probably had reason back in the ole days, but haven't ever out grown the panic of pulling up to one. hahahahhaha
Nope, I was coming from the other way, from 40/42, and it was before i got to 50. It was the last road on the right before 50. Anyway, I forgot about the black SUV, maybe that's it. But why licenses then, do they know the driver? And I panic too, not sure why I'm never doing anything wrong. At the time this morning my 4 yo was putting walmart smile stickers all over his little brother, that's about as bad as it gets when you're with me!!
Was officer Obie there? (It's a joke. If you know the reference you'll probably laugh. If you don't it would take too long to explain)
With twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was . . .
You have your DL # memorized? I would be uummm up a creek without a paddle on that one. I can remember every number i have to know except my dl #. I think cuz in Iowa we had our SSN as our dl number.
I know my DL, SS, bank acct, and DH's SS #'s......... Now he couldn't tell you mine if his life depended on it....
