ok, not sure if I really want to do this or not..but I thought I ask anyways. I went through other treads on lawn people..didn't really find what I needed. But, me and my brother share my dads old riding lawn mower and I have to wait for him to bring it over here so I can mow the lawn, now I have a little over a acres worth of land, easy mowing, takes me about a hour and a half. No trimming, needs it..but I really don't care about it. I don't want to sign a contract and I might not need someone every week..I just need to find some teen or someone to cut it for me every now and then so me and my brother don't fight over the lawn mower. It needs a mowing right now, but I have been asking him for two weeks to bring it over. :x Anyone? Sheri
Maybe "Rick" could hook you up with a cheap mower...LOL seriously though... have you put an ad in the classifieds here or on Craigs List? Might get some replies through that...
you know i have looked there, but i figured everyone else when they want or looking for something they just post it here..works faster. If my brother would just bring the mower over I wouldn't have a problem here. Sheri
I don't know how much he would charge but it's worth a quick phone call. Call Jeremy at (919) 538-7709. He is in the Garner area so hopefully you are pretty close too. Just let him know you are in need of someone to cut your grass and see how much he would charge to just cut it with no trimming, blowing etc...
What is the going rate for grass mowing? I would think by the time someone hauls a mower over (gas for vehicle) and mows (gas for mower, wear & tear on mower), hauls the mower home (gas for vehicle), and charges for their labor, it would cost close to $50 for an acre for the person to be able to stay in business. :? It might be more economical for you to find a good, used mower and mow it yourself.
yeah, when you say cheap? what are you expecting to pay someone who is going to load a mower over to your house and mow your grass and then load the mower and go home for?
yeah, you might just want to buy a used push mower and do it yourself, b/c I don't think you are going to find anyone to mow your yard or fix your fence for "CHEAP" go to some yardsales & find ya one....
Not sure really, mainly just didn't want to sign a contract...but I may not even need someone to do it at all one month and then go a couple of weeks with out a mower can hurt. Sheri
My son wont be around this weekend, but if you need someone next weekend, please let me know and i'll have my teenager come cut it. He cuts grass on the side, when not playing baseball. PM if you need help after this weekend. And very reasonable !!!
right but its been 2 weeks and he hasn't brought it you said, so just go buy a cheap push mower... problem solved.
ok Kimmie I do mow my own grass thank you, I was just looking for some in between so my neighbors don't have a cow when it gets long..again I said me and my brother share one, just get tired of waiting for him to bring it over. Sheri
