I guess I will risk stating my opinion (hopefully I won't be bashed too much) I am from Oregon (I KNOW..this isn't Oregon and if Oregon is so great why don't I move back there..) They do not have checkpoints in Oregon..there the police actually go out and catch the criminals...they don't sit around and wait for them to come to show up. And they still seem to manage to catch the bad guys. It seems like having all those cops there at a single check point is unnecessary. They should be out stopping all the speeding maniacs that are around. I for one think the idea of a check point is too Eastern Bloc for me. (Like someone else mentioned..."Papers...Where are your papers..) I have a lot of respect for law enforcement and even have a few in the family, but I think the check points are wrong and they ARE slowly taking away our rights. Just slow enough (with plenty of scare tactics thrown in) that most people not only don't realize but actually think it is their own idea. OK. Flame on!
I agree that abortion as a method of birth control is murder. But some see it as their right.. its their body yada yada yada But again everyone has an opinon.
I don't. I don't think they should have an easy out. I think the man who helped with the process should have a say as well.
