It's really dog eat dog when you sale something through this website only to see it for re-sale at a higher price after you sell it.

Yes, it sure is. Be sure not to give anything away on here. That really hits home.

I saw the item, and said hmmmmm. Then looked at the old email I saved just in case they had any problems later on. Same name, same number. A big coincidence I'd say.

unless they conned you into lowering your price, why do you care? you got what you considered a fair price when you sold it, right? what difference does it make what the new owner does with it?

That used to bother me, but if I get what I wanted for an item, I dont care what they do with it. (sell it, keep it etc...) If I was happy with the price I got and the item is gone... yeah for me.

The problem I have is when someone gives you a sob story about money being tight etc and I lower my price and then they do something with it... but I guess, it is my choice to let it go at that price or not.

I do buy things, at yard sales etc... just for the purpose of reselling it. (or letting my kids use it for a few weeks, but know I am going to sell it soon) As long as I dont lie to get the price down, I dont think I am doing anything wrong....

That's like one weekend I had a yard sale over by the Tobacco warehouse in Smithfield and some guy bought a bunch of stuff from me and my son went walking around and told me the guy had the stuff put on his table for sale , twice the amount I sold it to him. I got what I wanted for it, so I figured all the power to him. I thought I was asking alot for the stuff, but I guess he thought he'd make more. Oh well.

thats funny...so typical though. Before the CVS was built up at 50/210, there used to be the little 'flea market' if you will....and I went up about three times to sell, and there were two guys that would be on you, before you could get your vehicle in park, to see what you got, and they'd low ball stuff, and then go put it on their table for double or more....heck I didn't care, I just wanted to get rid of stuff....

During one of our neighborhood's Yard Sale, one my neighbors had an old wheelchair for sale. Someone approached him and offered him $10.00 for it. Not realizing it might be worth more, he said sure. The guy who bought the wheelchair sold it to someone else for $50, right in my neighbors driveway!
