College basketball for me; seems more exciting than the pro teams just playing for money. I tried not to like the Tarheels after living in Chapel Hill but they were the team I chose when I was really little.

Soccer (a good friend used to be a ref, so I'd go root for the referees - grand fun!)

growing up in the 60's I use to like to watch roller derby

Like it's any surprise that I'm a huge hockey fan judging from my avatar. That's the only sport I actually sit down to watch. Sometimes I watch the NASCAR race if I have nothing else to do.

Holy cow...didn't think I'd find another Fins or Fish fan around these parts.

Is there a particular place that you can go to watch the Fins games? I know that once I move, I seriously doubt I'll be able to see them on regular TV at home.

As for the Marlins, they won their second World Series title on my daughter's 3rd birthday. She was born during game #4 of the 2000 Subway Series. I had a visitor comment to me, "Don't tell me you were watching the World Series while giving birth!" I told her that I wasn't--it was only background noise. But I was watching it while in recovery!

I do like baseball sometimes.
