Good googly moogly!!! Red hot dogs with mus-My Friend, chile, and onions!!! Wheee dawgys that's good eatin!
Heretic alert (yeah big surprise) I have become addicted to hot dogs "Chicago Style". However I will still eat those red ones!
I don't do hot dogs..haven't ate on in like 15 years (I also don't eat bologna and meats like that). I do like Boars Head Ham for sandwiches and I will occassionally eat a HOT sausage dog or Bratwurtz.
ahhh, hot dogs, also known as gut grenades..... I haven't had a hot dog dipped in Red Dye #5 in ages (soooo bad for you) but I will have a Nathan's All Beef Hot Dog once in a while.....
, All beef, no ketchup, tomatoe and cucumber slices, mus-My Friend, relish, and a pepper on a full bun!
i don't have a pack right in front of me, but i'm pretty sure there's no red dye in brightleaf hot dogs. the color is from the spices...
Bologna I could take or leave... Until I saw how it's made! (on How It's Made) :ack: :ack: :ack: and :ack:
Yes, they are the same. Carolina Packers may well have red dye in them, but it's only to enhance the existing red colour already there from the spices.
I don't eat that many processed meats either....................they don't agree with me, and I figure they aren't that great for you either. Reminds me of some old fast food commercial about chicken nuggets, what was it?? It was funny, and something about "parts".
I have got a call into Jimmy Butler at Carolina Packers regarding the "secret ingredient" that makes their dogs red. Either way... the best way to eat them is right out of the bag! Funny how this thread started out talking about an invitation to Clinton and Obama to attend the H&Y festival. Let the pork flow!
