    I think she was just saying that because of his lapse in judgment, his young life is now ruined and that is sad. She did not say that it is NOT sad that the woman died. Of course it is sad! And he should absolutely have to pay the price for his lapse in judgment.

    Just my two cents.

    Mrs Leidy was a good customer of mine.She was always very nice-what a tragedy for her husband to lose her like this.I am so sorry for her families loss.

    that's alot more than the original post. i took it for what it was. did she think it was sad that the life of the poor illegal immigrant was ruined last week?

    hit n run

    i know of someone that after a hit n run and after a nite of drinking fled to switzerland
    and never got his rightful punishment.technicalites got him off with a slap on the wrist....
    amazing!!that was in georgia hopefully it won't happen here in n.c.

    I would bet not. But, what I can say is I bet that kid (man, I guess, he IS 21) will never drink again, let alone drink and drive. Repeat offenders get no sympathy from me.
