I saw the other thread here about temp housing and I have a question to add. We will be between homes for a few weeks too, but without any furniture so Parkside Village would not work for us. I checked a few hotels in the area, but none of these had weekly rates. $70 a night is a little steep when we're talking about 20 nights or so. Any ideas? Would like to be near Smithfield or McGees, but could travel for a clean, safe place.
I think there is a Suite place over on Hwy 70 in Garner across from The Ale House that is like $180 per week.

At one point and time there were drug problems there and one killing there as well..I would look around..this was before new ownership, but it didn't change the type of people that stayed there. I know someone that stayed there for a long time so I know stuff that went on there that was unreal. Sheri

Yep and you are right. I wouldnt want to be there myself but it was the only place that was local that answered the guys question.
check with some of the rental companies and Hometowne Realty, maybe they have something they can rent for a month or two!
