:?: We have decided on this office for 2 of our children who have to see an orthodontist. However, another one has to just see a pediatric dentist. I'm going with the same office, but I don't have recommendations for the dentist side. Most everyone recommended Macon for orthodontics. So which one do I choose for dentist for 7yo daughter? She's terrified of the dentist, I need someone very gentle and understanding! Horwitz, Parrish, or Pretzer? TIA, Jen
If it is the old man Dr Horwitz, I wouldn't take my worst enemy to see him. He is rude, hateful and the last person that needs to be dealing with children.
We have been going there for 10 plus years... my boys love all the dentists there. (they just hired a new one) I tried getting my 12 year old to switch to Dr. R since he is closer and he begged to stay there. They make my appointments at the same time so my little one can go with the older one and has moral support etc... they have never tried to talk me into anything and when we did need to make decisions they gave me multiple options to fit my financial needs...
We drive over to Cary to see Dr. Elliott and it is worth the trip. Rarely a wait, and then not more than 10 or 15 minutes. Very colorful with stuffed animals even hanging from the ceiling, and cartoons on in the exam room, which is very open. They encourage parents to come back with the kids, unlike many dentists. They even have a very tiny door for the kids to come in and out of, and lots of toys to play with. They have cool sunglasses to keep water spray out of the kids' eyes. They have many different flavors of anything they put in your child's mouth and they get to choose which flavor they want. My kids actually look forward to going.
