What to do for date night?

One night we started at the Red Room, Glenwood Ave for tapas and drinks, then went to Michael Dean's for dinner. Love that Rocky Top Hospitality group. Some nights Michael Dean's has live music.

About as far as my kids that go by Jesus Christ & God Dammit (credit to Bill Cosby of course!)

 

In reality, he's afraid that he'll get banished again, but for more than ten minutes next time.

Charlie Goodnight's in Raleigh can make a very fun evening out, and there are two restaurants there on site I think, it used to be a casual Mexican one and a dress-up reservations required nice one. Quality entertainment, and a place you can't really bring the kiddos so nice for an adults' night out.
