There's one at the shopping center on 42, down from the DQ, near Domino's. Jordan's might be the name of it, but not sure.
Yeah that's Jordan's. Two guys run it. They seem to really know what they are talking about. And they are quite attractive ladies  I recommend them.
I have used the place at McGee's.... He makes a lot of jewlery so he knows what he is doing. (at the food lion shopping center)
I had one piece of jewelry repaired there, they did a great job. I also inquired while I was there about where their prices start for ring resizing, they said they start at $40 and go up from there depending on how many sizes larger the ring is being made. They did say that they don't stretch just the gold that is there, they add more so that the band retains its original strength at a larger size. Ofcourse if you were sizing down, I'm not sure how their pricing goes on that, I only asked about going up a size. And... They are very easy on the eyes... 8)
girl!!! go get it re-appraised.....and report back. I took 5 watches (batteries) up there today and the scenery was outstanding. goodness.8)
I got my wedding bands resized after baby, and they did a fantastic job. Yes, very nice to look at, both of them. Steamy. Jordan, the older one, his daughter is gorgeous too. Her baby pictures are in the shop, I LOVE the one with the wedding bands on her feet. Precious. Highly recommended, for all reasons above.
So today ... DH says: "I need a battery for my watch, can you take it up to the place that appraised your ring" HG: Sure honey no problem at all":twisted::twisted:
Don't forget to get any gold left over from downsizing. No need to let the jeweler have it when its yours.
Jordan did some custom work for me, cleaned up my dad's WWII bracelet, resized hubby's ring. They are great and reasonably priced. I have been to the one in Clayton and they messed up a medical bracelet for my son (sterling instead of stainless). Will only go to Jordans now.
