My dh likes Dr. Harris at Horizon on Hwy 42 W. in Clayton. My dh never went to the doctor on a regular basis (yearly check-up) until he met Dr. Harris.

Let me tell you about a house I rented in Benson once when I first moved to NC. Took me ten minutes to figure out this guy was talking about the electricity when kept talking about getting the "curnt turnt on", now he was pretty clear about allowing the stands in the yard on Mule Days... but "curnt"? WTH?

my husband sees Dr. Turner at Garner Internal Medicine @ White Oak and loves him.. Mr. McCann, his PA, is really good too.
I second (or is it 3rd?) Dr Harris at Horizon Family! They are great, that's where my hubby goes and he sees Dr Williams (the rest of the family see Harris) They are very down to earth, remember you every time you come in, ask about the family, that kind of place...I couldn't imagine going anyplace else!
This is who I see (for the past 11 years), just not sure if he is taking new patients. I haven't actually seen Turner himself in a few years, but I love McCan and the there is another female PA that I really like too.
It doesnt have to be a white doctor at all. In fact I go to Dr. Clayton on hwy 70. He is the bomb. Dont start it please. It was the only way I could describe what I didnt want.
This is exactly what I am talking about. Those of you turning it so racial. I knew that would happen. I said nothing about race or qualifications. I just wanted someone with a good bedside manner and a doctor that would listen and not just "pass him through" COME ONNNN, those that have met us, we are not racist so just stop please. thanks Just looking for a good match for the hubby. And therein lies the problem. The only way you could think of to describe him was using a racial term. You could have easily said you were looking for someone who could speak clearly, or even did not speak with a foreign accent. Heck, you could have said you didn't want a foreigner. But no, you had to use a term that demonstrates bigotry. If this were the first time, you might have been dismissed. But this is not the first, second, or even third time. You have demonstrated a propensity for using racial slurs, because you can't think of any other way of saying it. If that was the only word you could come up with, then I think you should look within yourself and see if maybe you're lying to yourself as well as others when you claim your not a racist.
