Reminder postage increasing....

Stamps go up .01 on Monday 5/12. First class - .42 and postcards - .27

 

I can't keep up...I thought it was already 42 cents, I've been using that postage for about a month now...

 

AND..A little known fact is that they have now gotten approval to not have to have thier rate increase requests go before legislation for consideration before it can happen. This means this mis-run agency of the government can now raise thier proces anytime they feel the need to do so even though they waster their money now.

 

I cannot keep up with the cost of postage anymore. Think I am just going to break down and buy some of those "Forever" stamps.

I have always thought that instead of just going up a penny each time if they raised it a nickle each time then we wouldn't need to increase the postage every other year.

 

That would be too cost effective...it is the government you know.

I love paying my bills online for free.

 

I'm getting ready to start doing that. Still need stamps though to mail out my monthy inovices to cutomers.


Wonder if QB will allow me to set up a "bill pay" type service? :mrgreen: I surely hope so.

I do the same but some things need to be mailed. A birthday card is personal, to me, so I write in it and mail. I usually print my own cards because it is more personal but I still use snail mail for that. I do the same with Thank You notes.

cards is about all I mail now-a-days too.

 

thats why i email everything and use online bill pay. hell i still have .37 stamps

Yep, I do all my personal bills that way, cheaper and much easier! But at work, we still use stamps for most things.....:?
