Some people wanted reminders so I am reminding.... :)

We are having the CF yard sale this Saturday. So we are accepting any/all donations... we will come pick up anything you think we can sell. 100% of yard sale proceeds goes to CF. (any bakers are welcome to donate baked goods too!!)

Then the walk is the morning of the 17th and we would love to have anybody walk with us who would be interested.

You can register to walk or make a donation here....

Help make CF stand for Cure Found. :)

    Thanks all!!

We dont have a lot of stuff yet, time got a way from us so anyone who has anything we would be grateful!!

aaauuuuhh I love to bake! And I've been wanting to make this pound cake for a while... just to get the mix out of my house. I'm guessing you want them individually wrapped?

Let me see what I can whip up!

Yea!! That would be perfect... I think we could sell it easier in saran wrapped slices, but I am sure a whole cake would sell too!!

    Thanks!!!

Hey L - I have some items to donate but need to get them together. Send me an e-mail or give me a call this week so we can work out a place to meet Wed or Thursday.

    See you soon!

Hey LJK, we just had a yard sale this weekend and I have a quite a few things left over I was going to donate to the Goodwill. You are more than welcome to them. We can either meet somewhere or you can come here. I can leave the items on my porch if if we can't work out a time. I will be near 4042 tomorrow as well.

I have to run to Garner in the morning tomorrow so will be going down 50 if anyone is along the McGee's to Garner route, let me know and I can swing by. It is hard to guess but I am planning on heading there around 9:30 ish and back around 12 ish.

Yes theirs is the week after ours and we told them we would pass on our left overs. (great family they are supporting, what a inspirational story)

Yes they are very inspirational. I wish more news stations would pick up their story. Right now News & Observer has done a couple of stories and WTVD has done a couple stories. They have one more to air, but I don't know when it will be.

Edited to add that apparently, it will be this week sometime when wtvd airs their story again. AND I got to meet them last weekend at the CF walk in Cary. That was exciting.

I was going to walk with you, but looks like I will be doing some babysitting that day. Sorry, but know, even thought it may not necessarily be for a particular family, we sent in a donation of $50 to the CF foundation. We always support the cause there with 2 cousins with CF.

I hope that you have a successful walk and yard sale!! Will be thinking about you all.

The Halifax Mall - Downtown Raleigh GREAT STRIDES walk taking place 05/17/2008 at 09:00 AM.

They are having a 'short' walk for the kids and lots of inflatables and games and team mascots etc for the young crowd. It is a lot of fun.

Dont worry about the sponsorship, that is not what it is all about... you probably wont get a t-shirt, but not a big deal! I am sure someone will have collected extra and can share! :)
