With gas and food prices going up quickly I think our family needs to start a vegie garden. Are we too late to plant?

I keep misspelling veggie, don't I? Anyhow, when you plant those pigs and chickens let me know...I'd like to get video of that. Afraid my daughter is close to being a Vegan.

I put my 6 new chicks in their portable mini-coop today. Their names are Buffy (a buff Orpington), Black Betty (a black Minorca), Lilly (an Araucana), Lacy (a Silver Laced Wyandotte), and twin sisters Milly & Daisy (Millie Fleur Bantams.) We'll build a separate coop for the Bantams soon, since they'll be much smaller than the other girls when they're grown, but right now they're all together.... and they're really cute and so fun to watch!

It must be awfully hard to eat them, after giving them such neat and thoughtful names... :)
