Looking for reasonably priced weekly garbage pick-up in the area. Any suggestions? Thanks for your input!
I use allstar, they are $54.00 every three months. Have never had a problem with them and have been using them for the last 3 1/2 years or so.
We use Advantage Waste and the price just went up to $54 because of gas prices, never had a problem with them. Great guys!
Hope I'm not getting ripped off, but we pay $72.00 every three months which comes with recycle containers with Waste Industries. I guess it pretty much depends on where you live. I know there are at least three different garbage companies that come into our community.
We use Advantage and pay $94 every 3 months. HOWEVER, we have to have 2 cans b/c of household size. Tried to cram it all into one and never could get it to work. We've been pleased w/ Advantage but w/ everything going up, we now have a different car available, so are going back to hauling it ourselves. Sticker has gone up too but still cheaper. We use allstar. Love those guy's, I sometimes forget to put the trash out and they have come and got it for me. You want go wrong with allstar.
I use the Johnston County Satellite sites and my garbage carrier is probably one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet! I think it cost about $75 a year.
Brocks Sanitation! They are a great family ran business and they come during holiday weeks too and do not put you off until the next week like some others.
Allstar...great service, always here at the same time on pickup day, have come back to get my can when we've forgotten to put it out, great local family that owns it.

We had Busy Bee until Waste Industries bought them out. We paid $75/quarter for several years. And still do with Waste Industries, they said adding recycling would be another $2.50/month. I will definitely have to change if our bill changes to upwards of $75/quarter yikes.

I was a previous Busy Bee customer that was not very happy with the change to Waste Industries. We were paying $57 a quarter. I got the first bill from Waste Industries and they said I was past due even though Busy Bee said they got the money. Today I called customer service and had the rudest woman I have ever talked to at the other end of the line. She told me I had to fax proof of payment to them, and then I asked "Or I could go with a competitor and avoid the hassle". She responded with saying she really didn't care who I used. That was a great and wonderful bit of customer service. She went on to lecture me about how it wasn't their fault that Busy Bee didn't tell them I paid. After about 5 mins of her condescending lecture I told her I had had enough and hung up. She called back and we canceled the service. I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with such terrible customer service. I would rather take my garbage to a dump myself than deal with a company that thinks so little of their customers.
