I just want to give a great thanks to Dr. Regina Sanders, Purr & Bark Mobile Vet for making time and squeezing us into her busy schedule yesterday. My oldest kitty, Ms. Kitty, who is 13 was having a tough time with what I thought was one tooth. Turned out my poor baby needed to have 6 teeth extracted. Initially Dr. Regina was going to schedule a dental for Thursday, but just as soon as I said she was losing interest in eating, she did some rearranging and fit us in yesterday. She has a beautiful mobile vet clinic, I've never attemped to use a mobile vet before. But, I have cats that had seen Dr. Regina before with the vet. hospital she used to be associated with. I really love her attitude with the animals, very outgoing and friendly, not trying to push and sell services that aren't necessary. She was even able to pick up a new customer in my neighborhood. She popped off a couple of rabies shots for my dog, another cat and then a few neighbors who saw the van at the top of my driveway. She happened to have had a cancellation, so she arrived at my house a little early, and while she was waiting for DH to get there, she was talking with my neighbor who has several semi-approachable feral cats. She was able to walk right up to 3 out of the 4 and pop them with a rabies shot, just amazed my neighbor. She does work out of the Wake County area, and there is a small extra fee for her travel to Johnston County, but it was worth every penny! http://www.purrandbarkvet.com/Home_Page.html Ms. Kitty is doing well this morning, showing a little interest in food, which is good considering how she must be feeling. to Dr. Regina for being such a wonderful Vet!
Thanks for the props! I just contacted her for my babies. I have to get my little one neutered. He is showing WAY too much interest in Harley and Cheyenne.(my big babies) Not sure if it is even possible for a little dog to ummm....attach to a big one, but not taking any chances.
She does most of her callbacks for appts in the evening because she is so busy during the day, and she is a one woman rolling vet. So don't be worried if you had to leave her a message and don't hear right back from her.
She is beautiful R2CMK! I remember the pics when you first got her, and when she first had those babies, she's come a long way and looks so healthy now!!
OMG Ready, they look just like her. Both their ears are floppy like that. Harley stayed lighter but Cheyenne has the darker fur, and her tail curls!! It is so cute! I will see if I can post pics. Still not quite sure how to do that. I'll try.
Ok I got it, here goes, I have included pics of them when we first got them. Whaddya think? Diggers too, little stinkers are going after the moles!!!!
They like to find sticks to play with, can ya tell? Bought tons of toys and what do they want to play with??!! Sticks.
Oh Frame, they're gorgeous!! They're SO BIG now! They have their mama's eyes!! I love seeing them, thanks so much for posting their pics for me! :-D Just FYI... after seeing them all grown up I'm 99% sure their father is a neighbor's Chesapeake Bay Retriever, which would explain the waviness of the fur on their backs. I get to see one of their brothers from time to time and he has that same waviness on his back. His fur is much more coarse than his mama's fur too. Is their fur coarse, or super soft (rabbit-like) like Sugar's? Oh, you can snag these pics of them as babies and save them on your computer if you want. Remember these?
I know, weren't they adorable puppies? I can't believe how big Frame's girls (aka "brown girl" & "black girl") have gotten. I'm so glad they got to a home together. They look so happy and healthy. Does my heart good to see them! BTW Frame, Sugar's tail curls up too but not quite as much. I love her fluffy, curly tail!
OH YES I remember those gorgeous baby picure of them...so sweet. Their fur is rough on the top but baby soft underneath. If they let you get under the top coat of their fur, they are very soft, like rabbit hair. Usually they won't let you run your finger in thier hair. I love Cheyenne's curly tail, when she sits next to you, it wraps around your leg, too funny. I was really glad I could take them both. They are very happy together. Rotten too. LOL
Just had Dr Regina come and take care of my three large dogs...she was great. It was wonderful not to have to make three separate appointments at the vet and not have to sit around the waiting room. I would highly recommend Purr and Bark mobile vet...
Dr.Regina is fantastic. She was great with my little one, Zeke. I got him fixed, now I have to get my girls done. have to figure out how to keep them both in the house while they heal first. They like to chew. and they hate being inside for long. They like to be outside and run a lot. Very energetic lol
