there is a new cleaners up there beside LaPiazza/Lowes Foods....wonder if they are any good. we used all the ones up at 42 and we aren't happy with them....so Dear Fiance' takes his 45 shirts to Raleigh.....be nice to have somewhere close to home. anybody tried them?
Mike's for us. Just picked up my usual load of shirts and dry cleaning stuff. Fair price, excellent service.
Do you know what the name of the place is? I want to call to see if they do alterations and to set up an appt if need be. Thanks!!
Most dry cleaners do not just press something. They go through the whole process because a garment looks better pressed after the process. The price seems high to me but if compared to some in Raleigh like Brothers Cleaners it is not. I always ask the price before dropping off. Buttons and zippers are a big thing to me and some cleaners do not replace broken buttons, which ticks me off. The chemicals are toxic that the cleaners use. California passed a law to stop the cleaners from using those and to start using alternative cleaning solutions. I think every state should do the same. Sherry
I called them yesterday, unfortanely they do not alter formal wear :? I am going to swing up and see Linda today to get it taken care of.
Where is Mike's? We have used the cleaners next to the Dentist near the Food Lion and we are happy with them. They could have longer hours.
