Vehicle roof rack

    I want to get a basic roof rack installed on my car...is that something I have to have done at a dealership? or are there other places to get it done....anybody have recommendations??

    Get a Yakima or Thule rack at REI or Dicks. They are much more versatile than the ones you can get from a dealership. Plus when you don't need it, you can take it off. They both have loads of additional accessories and mounts.

    :( yakima and thule don't have a rack to fit my vehicle....it's a 2006 Chevy HHR...

    HG...thanks for pointing me in the direction of Headturners! Got a hitch installed instead of a roof rack...the service there was awesome...highly recommend!
