Where are good places to go to look for bedroom furniture with good quality but also offer great deals? Gently used is okay but I don't want to have to refinish any pieces. I have been watching Craigslist.

I've never been in there, but there is a furniture store on Main St in Clayton that has a sign for used furniture, as well as new. They always have pretty pieces in the window, I keep meaning to stop. It's down near Jones Lunch, which I've never been in either.

Home Comfort Store Outlet on Glennwood Ave. We've bought our 2 dining room sets there and our couches and tv stand. Great deals. They have some things that are scratch & dent but you'd never know. In addition, if the stores are done w/ their displays, they go there. OR, they just have too much inventory. Mostly, it's too much inventory. Everything we got was brand new. I was able to get 2 tables w/ 12 chairs last year for $1000. Trust me, I looked everywhere last year for a better deal and couldn't find it. It's hard enough finding a table that will seat our entire family.

Sometimes you can luck out on craigslist or yardsales but for furniture, it's a rarity. Good luck in your search!

If that is the Discount Furniture Outlet I have been there and they have pretty stuff. I thought it was pretty reasonably priced; for instance, we looked at a storage coffee table for $250 that I have seen for at least $500 in other places. They can also order stuff for you.
