I have a friend who lost their cat this year and are ready to find a new love... BUT...

They have 6 kids, the kids are great, but they are kids and loud etc...

Cat would be indoor/outdoor on large lot in culdesac in nice subdivision. Unless kitty was declawed, she would then make it indoor only.

They would prefer a spayed female... and free, unless we have paperwork to show it doesnt need shots etc... (you know how all of that can add up...)

Hubby is ok with an idea of another cat, but is 'one of those kind' and is picky about his house, so one that REALLY uses the litter box and doesnt have any known bad habits.

I know that they would be a great kitty home. But I also know that is a tall order, that is why I am asking for help looking, I would like them to find a great match... so if anyone knows of someone looking for a new home for their 'perfect' cat let me know!!:lol::lol:

They are going on vacation this Sunday for a week and then will be ready!

My Jasmine would be perfect too, but no way! Will keep my eyes and ears open.

There's one in the classifieds that says it's a spayed female, UTD on everything and she's asking $35. Name is Piper. Cute.

He's master of the house. He's such a good kitty. He lets #1son snuggle him up in a blanket. LOL Poor kitty...he has the patience of a saint! :hurray:

Did your friend ever get another cat. My inlaws have two that just had kittens one week of each other. They love these cats so much but can't afford to keep them, the ten kittens, or have them spade. Their mother was a stray...she had them, then left.

My in laws have taught these cats to do tricks...LOL! They will roll over on command! It's hilarious! I hate to see them go. They are super loving too. If you know of anyone that needs someone to love and be there for them please let me know. My inlaws have spoiled these two rotten and their kittens so far. They are only 7 and 8 weeks old, but super sweet too.

And yes, I have them in the classifieds, but I really would love to see them go to a good loving home if they can't stay with my family.

No they havent. They are looking for an adult, so the kittens are out, but maybe one of the moms. (or both??)

Do you have any pictures? How old are they? Yea, maybe this will work.

Too bad they only want a free one because there are SO many cats and kittens up for adoption through the JCAPL. They must have had 30 kittens there today! So sad. I wish people would get their cats fixed!

    Hey!
They are only a year and half if even that. I only have pictures of them when they are kittens. I thought I had pictures more up to date. I will get some taken. PM me your email and I'll email them to you if your friend is interested. Now, they have also only been outside, but they stay outside right at the deck. They don't roam. They are spoiled kitties. So I don't know how easy it is to train them to use the litter box. Yikes.

No prob. I have worked there 5 plus years and really love most of it!

I wish she would adopt, but I guess if everyone rescues as they 'see fit' we can save them one at a time no matter what road we take!

Just a little happy story about adopting wherever, whenever. My Dad's wife's cat died and she was very sad. They found a cat in need from the newspaper and went to meet her. Her name was Sophie and she had belonged to an older lady thad had died. They fell in love with her, and her new name is Queen Sophie Butterbutt. Fat old cat that loves everyone and needed someone to love her. I had the privilege to meet Queen Sophie a few months ago, and she is happily ruling her new domaine.

    Dontcha just love happy endings?

That's so sweet! I love the name!!!

Well, Vivian, I don't mean to sound harsh, but honestly my MIL wants to keep as many as she can, but FIL says no. I have NEVER known them to have cats. Indoor or outdoor. When they moved to this house a couple years ago the mother that started all of this was sad hungry stray that had been apparently left there by the previous owners. I guess they could have just taken her somewhere and dumped her. But no, they loved her and now love her kittens, and their kittens. They just can't afford have them all fixed, feed them all, and would rather keep one and do it the right way.

They've asked me to do everything I can to get them to good homes so that they don't have to seek taking them to the shelter which is already overcrowded or risk something worse happening to them.

You don't sound harsh. ;) My posts weren't refferring to you at all. I think it's great that your in-laws are looking for good homes for these cats.:)
It was just heartbreaking to see about 30 kittens this past weekend, that need homes. I'd take some but we have dogs and Snuff is allergic to cats. I hope you are successful at finding good homes for the kitties!:)

Thanks, I will forward it to her... the litterbox problem may scare her away, I wonder if the problem is ok if he is an only cat?

    Keeping my fingers crossed.
