Thats why Europe's cars have engines no bigger than a sewing machine. Interesting that they use so much less and their gas is far more expensive isnt it.

Or it could be because gas is so expensive they went with much smaller cars!

Which is what I believe will happen in the USA.

I cannot see the USA giving up it's big trucks and suvs. I myself will surrender to driving a smaller car.

This is what I"ve been saying for a while now...Not buying gas on say, Friday won't help, because people still spend the same amt, just either on Thursday or Saturday. But if nobody drives on a given day, that's a lot of gas not bought, period. I always thought it should be a Saturday, since most people don't work on that day...I know some do, and can't help it.

If we stick to the title of the thread: Stay Home From Work

would that not also apply to police officers, medical personnel, air traffic controllers, etc.? See where I am going? If everyone were to do that and someone was sick who would take care of them? If everyone were to do that and a crime were committed who would arrest or investigate the bad people? Would would make sure the inmates are behind bars? Who would make sure our electricity and other essentials continue to stay on if the weather were bad and who would let us know if a tornado or something like that were coming our way?

How would we choose who would stay home that day? Other suggestions/ideas would probably work better.
