I'm outside painting the front porch, painted the ceiling light blue... now just touching up around the molding. Going to paint the railings next.....

DH is playing golf :?

As long as he brings me home beer I think I'll be okay though!

it has been 3 days of heaven for me, pool, cookout, eat, sleep, do it all over again! tomorrow I'm off to the zoo w/ 2 of my g-babies! LOVING THE STAYCATION! :hurray:

I did get it painted light blue, and today I painted the trim pieces under it white.. and ofcourse now the whole porch really needs to be painted.. :? I guess I'll work on that after work this week.

Have fun at the zoo... I love watching the polar bears!!

We had a cookout with the neighbors tonite, my neighbor has a smoker, and he was up at 5:00am this morning and put a fresh wild turkey breast, venison backstrap, pork shoulder & kielbasa in there... let is cook low and slow @ 250 degrees for about 12 hours... oh my god was it all so good! Then we had baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, mararoni salad, broccoli salad... and banana puddin' for desert... (and lots of beer).. so I must be getting back to my beer!

M's bike broke today :lol:

It ir R's birfday and she wanted mexican food. Had ONE margurita at some mexican place and had to switch back to ML's. (just in case) :lol:

Tomorrow's gonna suck ***. :banghead:

 

It was CRAZY busy at the Pool today.... Looks like no one went out of town over the weekend.

I'm betting it will be a busy time all summer at the local pools.

 

North Topsail was packed.

People from the usual places were there...FLA, OHIO, VA, NY, NJ, SC etc...saw some PA, IN, IL, MI as well.

Plenty of watercraft on the ocean.

Plenty of SUV's on the road.

 

yep, same at Oak Island too....gazillions of folks on the beach (too many in fact), all hotels booked, 40 East heading down packed with traffic. Went out in the boat on Saturday and it was a 20 minute wait at the boat ramp. Lots of people traveled to the Beach, for sure.

 

Hope ya had a great time tho. It was great meeting ya Friday!!!

I notice the traffic yesterday coming home from work at 1pm and I was like OMG look at that!
It was worse around 5pm.

We really where not that busy at work either. Sunday was dead and Monday well it was hard to tell really since I left at 1pm..but I didn't think it was either.
I guess they were all at the beach.

Yep sitting on the front porch with my daughters DS and bathing suit..
My time is coming though, 25 more days till Disney! :hurray:

 

I stayed home all weekend, except for getting my birthday massage at the spa, going out to dinner and getting another tattoo :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

I scrapbooked most of the weekend.....ahhhhhhh, I sooo needed the break.

Happy late birthday! Got my 1st tat in March and I love it! Ready for another one!
