New Lowe's Food on 42/50???

Hey!
I havent meandered out to the area lately but I heard there was a new Lowe's food store on 42 at the intersection of 50? Is that correct?

I'm meeting someone for dinner at the Italian restaurant. Anyone know the name of it and is it any good? (Is it expensive?)

Yes the new lowes is there. The italian restaurant is okay.. the prices are from 13-16 bucks. The last two times that I went there, service lacked (big time) food is okay..

And the chinese take out near that, is awful. I got General Tu's Chicken, and it was nasty..

Food was..well..kind of gross. :ack: Service was superb though, that I will definately give two thumbs up for!

Yeah, I'm another one who will not recommend this place. If you want Italian, check out Mulberry on Main in Clayton.

 

I've been to that restaurant twice now (hoping the first time was a fluke), and both times everyone I was there with complained about the food and the service. I second Mulberry.

 

For a change, I went to Marco's on 42. I have been there with a friend several times when they open up and it was okay.. Service was okay... food was okay.. nothing to give 2 thumbs up about.. I mean it's not like Maggiano's. But what I don't understand is, the both times that I go there, the servers are all young and everytime that I am there, these young girls come in and start flirting and talking to the male staff.. (I mean there is a place for everything) you know, not here when you are a paying customer waiting for good service. Not sure if I will go back again......

 

Maybe Omni can address that issue for you :mrgreen:

I love it when I see teenagers working. Too many kids are spoiled these days.

 

I don't mind teenagers working.. I did it.. and worked in a restaurant for 7 yrs thru college. But I didn't call up my girlfriend to come up there when I was working to socialize.. that was really what I was saying.. =)
