'Carol Burnett' star Harvey Korman dies at 81 Posted: May. 29 7:12 p.m. Updated: May. 29 7:19 p.m. LOS ANGELES — A UCLA Medical Center spokeswoman says actor Harvey Korman has died. Hospital spokeswoman Roxanne Moster said Korman died Thursday but she released no details. The Emmy-winning star of such TV programs as "The Carol Burnett Show" and films such as "Blazing Saddles," was 81.
We all laugh when we watch Blazing Saddles. And, we know that it couldn't be filmed that way today, between being PC and other issues. Korman's delivery in every scene was a laugh riot about to happen. Thanks, Mr Korman...Farewell and God speed to you... B'ruch Atah Dayan ha Emet.....
I used to love when he would get so tickled at Tim Conway during a skit. I've seen him laugh so hard he couldn't catch his breath.
Back when comedy was REAL comedy and most of the time, clean enough for the whole family to watch! 8) Loved the CB show!! :hurray:
There was someone else last week I believe, but can't remember who it was. I know it was a male who had cancer and that he was 73 years old. I THINK his first name was Sidney. Please don't mark my words in stone though.
Sidney Pollack recently passed away also. Mr Pollack was a director, producer, and actor. He played many roles. I remember him in Tootsie, where he played Dustin Hoffman's character's agent...and was credible in so many other roles also. Apparently, Mr Pollack was well liked and respected by the entertainment community.
 I know when I go, I'm planning to do it only once. Wjo needs the aggravation of going through THAT three times?!? Harvey is a great loss. I never laughed so hard as I did while watching CB Show. they were all awesome. Hasn't been anything like that since.
OK, for the superstitious folks out there: 1. Harvey Korman 2. Bo Diddley Who will be the third famous person to bite the dust? come on guys, we're waiting! I know some of you washed up has-beens are just barely hanging on. Why don't you just throw in the towel already, so we can stop watching the news 24/7 and get on with our lives?
Oh no the world is ending! And it isn't even December 21, 2012! Mel Ferrer died and that makes four in a row! Cats and Dogs living together and a Major Political Party picks an African American to head the ticket! Nothing will ever be the same!
