Not sure if this is the best place for this, but I've tried craigslist and raleighmusic with little luck, so here goes.... I'm a 33-year old average bass player looking for some fellow family friendly, weekend warriors to play some music with. Not looking to go on tour or make it big, just play for fun, no stress. Cover songs are great, but I'm not big into classic rock, metal, or country (which probably takes me out of the picture for most people around here, not knocking it, just not my cup of tea.) I'm into most stuff from the 90s, some goofy stuff from the 80s, and the odd song here and there. So if you know of anyone or place I could meetup with some fellow musicians, I'd appreciate the heads up. Thanks. B-
I know I'm changing the subject, but what else is new? My son wants to learn to play bass. Any suggestions on where to start. Should he learn guitar first? He's had one school-year of trombone. is there a good place nearby to go for lessons, reasonably priced? thanks Snuff
I actually take lessons from a guy that lives in Clayton. He is fantastic and very reasonably priced. I can go on, but pm me if you want more info. Brian
