We didn't join Victoria's Pond this year so we have no where to go swimming. I'm off of work this Sunday and I would like to take my daughter some where that doesn't cost a arm and a leg to go (saving money for disney). Any tips out there? I know of the place on Tryon road, but is there some where else like that or close to it? Sheri
You could make a day trip/picnic and go to one of our lakes that offer swimming areas: Jordan Lake, Falls Lake, or try one of the county/city pools...the one on Athens drive in Raleigh usually isn't too crowded and not much $$ to get in.
the owners can't help who go there. and the people that go there are nasty, trashy and half don't speak english.
I do, but I am allowed to have "guests" to go into the swimming pool area. The management does not ask if those "guests" have paid me.
Check out this place, they used to allow people to swim for the day for a small fee. I used to take the girls for the day sometimes on Saturdays. Plus we did not have to pay dues or an annual fee.
