I gotta admit, I am little freaked out. Its 100 there today!! Its only in the 80's in Florida where my mom is. I knew it got hot there, but is this unusual?:allears::ack:
Yes, it is unusual for it to be this hot, especially THIS early in the summer! I hope its not an indication for the coming months! I heard on WRAL that if we reach 100 it will break a record set back in WWI (or something like that) for that happening this early in the summer. Bad thing too - is that if it stays like this too long, it will start drying the lakes up too.....
I dunno, the past few years it was 90's 100's early on. THIS is the first year in a while that we have had a real spring.
It's so hot outside that everyone living in our house is indoors and that does not happen often. When does school start back up? Sherry
I went out to my mailbox in my barefeet and regretted it halfway there...ouch! No, it's not normally this hot this fast for this long...I really hope it's not going to be this hot all summer. We moved here 11 years ago in July just like you're getting ready to, and it was a hooooooottttttt summer. We were not used to anything like it, but luckily our only friends here had a boat, so we spent every weekend out on the lake. But my husband was framing houses at the time, and up on the roofs in 100 degree days, I felt so bad for him.
We're actually don't have A/C the last several days. It's hot like hell in my house, we've tried to turn on all the fans. Called this A/C guy, Rodney, he promised 6:00 pm today but never showed up, keep calling him just got automatic answer machine. Do'nt know what to do. Any good A/C guy to recommend?
