I have not been in years, but thought I remember when I was there last that people had signs out renting their places there. Like I said, not sure if I am remembering right or not, it has been a long time, but just curious if anyone knew if anyone did. I know you can camp there, but would rather not (would like air condition). Love that campground and would like to go back. Thanks!

Details please, we have heard about White Lake for a couple of years but do not know anyone that has actually stayed there. How far is it from 4042 and is it a campground, cabins, hotel, what? Can you fish, jetski, etc., any info you can provide would be very much appreciated.

I grew up going to White Lake since we lived so close (Fayetteville). DH and I have actually talked about getting a vacation home there because it's so quiet!

I have not been to White Lake in many years. We used to go every summer. It used to be a beautiful clear lake. Was a great place for teen agers on summer weekends. It is only a hop skip and jump from Johnston County.

Camp Clearwater has more than doubled in size over the last 4-5 years and very little of White Lake is opened to the public. Goldston Beach is the only public area and it gets crowded real quick, especially on weekends.

Wonderful place for families with small children. There are all kinds of rentals all around the Goldston's / Clearwater side but weekends can be crowded. Great water and bottom but can be affected by the amount of boats on the water and dry weather. It is a 1.5 hour drive from our area.
