We got new work shirts in today!!! :hurray: must go sort 200 of dem jokers! gggrrrr!! BUT I will be fabby tomorrow!!!

 

wonder where that rascal SS is this week....he bought that Harley and we haven't heard from him since..... guess he has rode off into the sunset.......

 

He hasn't called me yet. :boxing:

For the record, our a/c is working again. Finally got it working about 2 hours ago. :hurray:

At my old job, I remember getting a bunch of stuff from our main office. I had no idea it was coming. I asked my boss about it and she was like, "It's here?" 6 very large boxes of promo items--and I got to be the one to sort it out, pack it and ship it to the various regional managers. She looked like a kid on Christmas morning going through the boxes...it was hysterical.

But at least I got some free stuff out of it. :hurray:

I did the work shirt thing once as well. We had a boatload of t-shirts from Oppenheimer Funds that came in for our annual sales conference. My co-worker and I were in her hotel room using her bed to fold shirts. There were a few hundred of them as well.

 

We have to wear work shirts everyday (marketing crap). Took me a few years to get them ordering some nice dressy ones for hip chics! I still hate it though! Your really in Florida?

 

One of my former employers kept giving us work shirts as incentives because the different sales areas made their goals for the month. Previously, it was a company lunch. I preferred the lunches! I don't know if they ended up mandating that everyone had to wear the shirts every day. Lord knows we had received enough of them to where they could be worn every day. Of the 6-7 that I have, only 2 or 3 were ever worn. We had to either wear them or be in business attire when important clients came in. I hated wearing mine because the material was scratchy. When it was announced we had another shirt coming, I remember one of my former co-workers saying, "Great! Another shirt that I can use to wax my truck!"

And yes, I'm really in Florida. Please don't remind me, especially since it's going to be another year before we're able to escape. :cry:

 

Yeah my DD2 got her TB test today and didn't pass out this time. :hurray:

 

I have been riding my hiney off what is left. I have not been waved to so much in my life!! Pirdy thangs to.
