I think it would be nice to keep some of the riff-raff off of it, and limit the possibility of anyone wreaking havoc and getting it pulled after all this time and how long it is. Just for safer-keeping??
Who do I contact to see about getting "children at play" signs for our subdivision? Town or state? I know a sign might not help but I am getting sick of the people speeding on our street. Our subdivision is like a T and we live at the top part of it. You don't need to do 30 to get to the sign when it's only a few feet away. We have too many children that ride their bikes out here. It's one particular house and all her friends that seem to not care.
you ding dong, I was asking why great minds (as in both of you with the great minds why you want to move the thread) silly rabbit....
you have to purchase them yourself. we took up donations from the entire neighborhood for ours. You also have to put them up yourself. I believe we ordered them from the DOT. Endfed up being about $100 a sign, including sign, post, bag of cement.
How many threads have been pulled on this side verses those pulled in the Neighborhood? I would guess this thread is much safer over here, folks are not as tempted to push it as they do on the other side. The last time I remember heavy deletions on this side was during the furball wars, and since then the webby required sign-ins to post.
