I've been trying to find out info too. Hubby would have been on that call but his pager did not go off last night like it should have.

I have a very good friend who has relatives on Sanders Rd. and I called her and left a message today but haven't heard back. Do you know where it happened on Sanders?

A Willow Springs man was killed less than a mile from his own home early Sunday morning after his work truck collided with a tree. It happened at 2:08am on Sanders Road. Trooper J.M. Dorsey said a 2001 Ford F150 truck, operated by Edgar Molar Molar, 33, was traveling eastbound when his vehicle went across the centerline in a slight curve and the driver apparently overcorrected. His truck ran off the roadway and struck a tree. Molar died at the scene. Trooper Dorsey said Molar was not wearing a seat belt. The Highway Patrol has not determined if alcohol played a factor.

I read on WRAL at the intersection of Sanders and Wagner. I can't place it in my head though.

Picture of the wreck scene. That tree looks familiar but I can't quite place it.

It's right before the Austin Meadows Subdivision. We live right behind the house it happened in front of and heard nothing. The dog didn't even bark

My hubby was on that call and it was not pretty at all. I'll ask him where it was and let you know. I've heard that the little girl is ok, thank goodness.

Same place as the prior accident? I'm wondering how many accidents have been there. I know through that area I have come upon deer at dusk. Wondering if that could have anything to do with the accidents.

Driver Killed, Child Seriously Hurt In Sanders Road Crash
The Highway Patrol has released the name of a driver killed in a single car crash on Sanders Road early Saturday morning. The crash happened just before 4am. Troopers believe 23 year-old David Carroll Bell II of Blue Pond Road, Clayton may have fallen asleep while operating a 1998 Ford SUV. The vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned, partially ejecting Bell, and completely ejecting a 5 year-old passenger, Tiana Bell. The child was airlifted to WakeMed with serious injuries. Troopers said alcohol was not a factor.

    Were seatbelts/carseats a factor?

just the story was looking for. I have been dealing with this family about the flowers this week. They have suffered a great loss. The little girl is home and well.
I just felt really bad for them. I see all of them crying while ordering flowers and it gets me going. I cant help it. I dont like to see people hurt.

anyway, I wanted to find out the whole story because I didnt want to come out and ask to many questions..

I deliver the casket spray and many wreaths today to the funeral home.

I mean, this man had 2 kids...I feel bad for the wife and mother.

    sad, and sooooo young.
