How Do You Deal With Gossipy Neighbors?

Nope :mrgreen: ....I planted them the end of April. I just have a green thumb...:mrgreen: except when it comes to those dang cucumbers :x

 

I planted mine early May but still no zukes. I have plenty of cukes ripening on the vine but still no darn zukes. This is my first year of zukes and darn it, my crinkle cutter will be here soon if the fruit would hurry and oblige!

 

Zukes / squash really do well when they have a weekly fertilizer. The bigger the plant with multiple stalks the more fruit it gives. Try using the miracle grow for veggies formula ......

 

Does that come in miracle grow overnight!?!? The zucchini plants are big with blooms but still no fruit. I assumed they would grow at the same rate as the cucumbers....darn it. Do you have your cukes growing on a trellis or lying on ground? I have found that they do best growing straight up a trellis.

 

If you have plenty of blooms, but no fruit then you have a pollination problem. Do you have enough bees???? or you could always take the male flower and do it yourself... LOL :lol:

Cukes are going up a trellis. I haven't given up yet!!!

 

We have so darn many bees, it can get quite scary out there! I will throw on some food and see what that yields. Otherwise, maybe we can work out a fair trade - cukes for zukes!?!?

 

I'm thinking they may sound like a good trade!!!

 

We have the same situation here and what it comes down to is maturity. They are mentally still in high school and will always be. The best thing to do is ignore them cultivate new friends (if you can call them that), if need be outside of your neighborhood. What happens eventually everyone gets tired of all the negativity and back biting and the group falls apart and the two instigators eventually turn on each other, just like high school.

 

I think I would just go out in my yard and set up a PA system and play the Montgomery Gentry song "What Do Ya Think About That." I would have it loud enough for all of em to hear it.

That is funny I live in a neighborhood that full of drama.
It is unbelievable. It mostly consists of 3 families. Their husbands are so blind to it.

During the week they are the biggest bitches talking about everybody, getting into other people's business. but on Sunday ,morning you see them get in the car go to church together. It makes me sick.

You should call them out in front of a bunch of people, people who they are friends with and people who don't know them. They will skwirm and be so uncomfortable.

I believe that women are this way because they really do not like who they are, Their self image is so poor or so little or they have none, the only way for them to feel better about themselves is to cause drama be 2 faced & back stab somebody else.

Also when somebody new moves in the neighborhood, they are the first ones to run over and tell them the scoop on everybody and who not to be friends with.

This reminds me of the new kid in school thing.

These are adult women that are acting like this. Ages from 35-39. It's time to get out of the teenage BS and start being an adult.

You can tell that the apples do not fall 2 far from the tree; the daughters of these women are bitches too.


Let's unite and take them down one by one. Is every women in?

Yeah, take 'em down! :lol: But, some people just like to gossip too, under the guise of caring, and trying to figure out what is going on <rolls eyes>. Just NOSY. Even if they have your number and know here you live - cuz hell they can see your house from theirs... and you have had get-togethers and attended birthday parties. Doesn't surprise me though, if they talk about everybody else they will talk about you too.

The church carpool strikes me as funny - what was that commandment? Oh yeah -
