they truly have the best, and its hot and gooey and oozy.....JEESUS!! sorry Kaci, I didn't save none for you.....I sorry sister!!
Yep, I waste my time on the internet telling people about it :jester: Just kidding with ya Tas.
you don't want to taste it!! It's something you have to have a taste for it. All I know is it's kind or orangish in color. Have no idea what it is besides some kind of cheese.
I like it spread on an English Muffin and then toasted in the toaster oven... it gets all melty in the nooks and crannies! Yumm-o!!
I was born and raised here. LOL I don't eat pimento cheese, cottage cheese, collards, cabbage, ham-hocks , or anything else the "southerns" eat. If it stinks, I'm not eating it.
Yea - I don't eat collards/greens or ham-hocks neither - but I do like some pimento cheese - specially if its homemade! Yummy!!
and for the record, I wont eat 'store-bought' pimento cheese....Ilike homemade, has hunks of sharp cheese in it.....and it doesn't stink!!
Here ya go: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=6877304 Typically, it includes sharp cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, pimentos and some simple seasoning, such as salt and pepper.
its very basic. which is why Ilike it. I dont like alot of 'stuff'. I only eat it from there and if my sister makes it.
